How a language can help for a Hurricane Katrina victims? Well  If you think big you will have the answer. America is the home of millions of immigrants and refugees who are speaking several language. For example having a multilingual  event ad will  have a greater impact to raise money for the victims than a plain English ad. Please see an Amharic fundraising letter/event notice/call  written  to the Amharic speakers in San Diego

What is the  purpose of this web site?

The primary goal/purpose of  this  web site is to raise donation for the hurricane  Katrina victims.

The name used to be Refugee to Refugee why it is  changed now?

Because we want to avoid controversy but want to focus  on helping the people who need help. Currently  most of the victims and others  do not like to be called refugees and we accept their request and we call them Survivors. For us they are heroes and heroines

How do we raise money?

At this time our primary focus is initiating and coordinating fundraising activates  among  ethnic, religion and community  organizations all over the nation. We will help them to announce their events (before and after it happened). Also we formed a team by  group of volunteer translators across the globe. The team is called "Katrina Translators Team" .  The translators are willing to donate part of their translation project income generated from this web site to the victims.  If you have a translation project let us know. Please click here to see the  list of team members and what language they  are offering  for any assignment

Join us  National S and S weekend Sep 17, and 18, 2005 to raise to support relief effort. Donate money to your local read cross and let us know how much you donate.

Dear visitors:  This site is a result of volunteers from all over the world.  The world spoke about  the hurricane Katrina and every one  is wiling to help. We believe this is one of the unique  occasion where the whole world has one thing in common. That is helping  the survivors. If you don't believe our word please see from what country our volunteers are coming.   They are from every where and the request  is still coming. Some of these volunteers are too far from Louisiana or Mississippi, but they are here in sprint and they  are offering  to donate part of their income  to the victims. We could not find an  a magic  world to thank them, so we think you could have that magic word  and please drop few lines  to thank  their effort by signing our guest book

Do you have a translation project? Our translation volunteers are willing to donate up to 50% or their income  generated form this site to the Katrina relief effort. Please see the list of languages we are offering we have more than 54 languages.
